Fundamental problems baked into iPadOS are unsolvable. The iPad has Mac hardware while running phone software, and it's architecturally stuck there.

• Fit is more comfortable.

So I’m not optimistic, but I so very much want it to be good, because it’s the only choice.

Been rather unhappy with 1Password autofill lately, so dipping my toe into the new iOS/macOS Passwords app and it's good; however, it's missing a few crucial features imo:

• no custom fields
• no ability to generate passwords of custom length or incl/excl specific characters
• no favorites category
• no secure "items" functionality for credentials (not notes/passwords) like SSN, EIN, known traveler, bank account details, etc.
• no password history
