It&#39;s just an amazing example of #videogames imo, I haven&#39;t enjoyed just getting caught up in a game this much in a long time and I probably will end up running through it again.<br/><br/>Anyway, up next is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 because I do love a good #RPG and some people are saying it&#39;s pretty good. And by some I mean everyone.<br/><br/>Then it&#39;s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle because I am also an Indiana Jones fan and this game looks pretty good <br/><br/>After that I just bought #Avowed on #PS5. Been waiting a while for this one, too, but I&#39;m going to wait a little longer to actually play it because I have to space out the RPG&#39;s 😄<br/><br/>And speaking of RPG&#39;s, I recently started a couch co-op run of Baldur&#39;s Gate 3 with my youngest daughter and it&#39;s been so fun playing with her so far! She&#39;s busily finishing her bachelor&#39;s degree right now and only comes home periodically to eat yummy food and take naps.<br/><br/>We spent probably an hour in the character creator 🤘🏻😍<br/><br/>She knows literally nothing about this game but said she likes bashing stuff and I said, well, a barbarian is pretty good at that or a paladin or even a fighter.<br/><br/>She made a Tiefling barbarian that looks cool as hell and I made a Half-orc monk. We&#39;ve been playing split screen and I&#39;ve more or less just been following her lead. She&#39;s been controlling (skipping) most of the dialog, deciding who comes and goes in our party and controlling the combat of the entire party excepty character. And she&#39;s GOOD AT IT!!!! 😄<br/><br/>It&#39;s always been fun playing games with her because she gets it, she&#39;s checking out everyone&#39;s ability wheel and seeing what they can do, and then raining fire 🔥 on our enemies haha. She runs in with the tanks and indeed starts bashing stuff, and is using the ranged/magic/other characters perfectly and it&#39;s awesome 😄 <br/><br/>All I have to do is run in and punch stuff.<br/><br/>And she told Astarion to piss off on first contact which I thought was hilarious 😂 <br/><br/>She was like &#34;No! I enjoyed the first one and still fire it up from time to time. I haven&#39;t beaten it in decades, but I still like playing it sometimes. So I guess for me the original one is the best one.<br/><br/>I also enjoyed the sequel, Castlevania 2: Simon&#39;s Quest. It was a bit different, it had slightly branching paths through the map so you could choose where you wanted to go where the first one was very much linear. And it had 100% more dialog than the first one. <br/><br/>And Castlevania 4 was also pretty great imo. Or at least can be localStorage.<br/><br/>Anyway, so now, when she clicks the Delete Recipe button on a recipe, that click actually saves a copy of the entire recipe object including the image into localStorage and then pops the delete confirmation modal. Clicking the Delete button on the modal submits the form and actually deletes the recipe from the database.<br/><br/>And I added an Undo button on the &#34;Recipe deleted!&#34; success alert that re-adds the recipe from localStorage in case she gets that far on accident, and then it clears localStorage.<br/><br/>I wasn&#39;t sure where to put the Undo button really, but I think it makes sense in the alert since it&#39;s the thing that pops up on the screen the moment she clicks Delete for real. And there&#39;s no &#34;undo&#34;, but you can easily move everything (including the original contents of your inventory) back into the stash box by clicking the Move Everything button again.<br/><br/>But if you want things back the way they were, your only option at that point is to move everything back one item at a time. Also don&#39;t want to use VS Code anymore for the same reason. I guess I could use Sublime but I&#39;ve never used it to make a whole project before. Her gun went off as she was getting out of her car that also had her 3 kids and her husband in it because she put a bullet in the chamber and had left the safety off.
