That&#39;s for sure. And evidently people do it.<br/><br/>But it is nice to have a pillow, linens, and the ability to stretch out more comfortably. With overnight routes, there is no middle option.<br/><br/>Also, the food is only something to write home about if you are on the two-story trains that they run out west with the dining car.
