The thing is, memes expect its context to be automatically understood. Yet it is context that I can struggle with if it isn&#39;t presented. One thing that I hadn&#39;t anticipated was the difficulty in communicating within the same language. With strong regional dialects, the Irish accent just sounded like noises to me, and my English accent must have sounded the same to them.
