We have observations and discussion group at the end of the day. We care deeply for each other&#39;s kids too, so the sense of community is a huge part of why we are in it. It makes homeschooling / unschooling easier when you&#39;re not alone. And Montessori materials are expensive too, so having a community to share the cost with helps a lot.<br/>My son is really proud when he tells people he doesn&#39;t have to sit still in a classroom to listen to what a teacher has to say. He gets to choose his own work and materials and that makes him happy.
