If you also want the PC to be a daily driver, desktop PC used for gaming and other things, Cachy would be better for that. Cachy follows the Arch way, rolling updates every single day, sometimes more than once per day. Chimera is more stable, and given the updates are curated, it is less likely to break (not that Cachy broke so far, but worth mentioning).

Based on arch, stable snapshots curated by the developers and maintainers. Built my own steam machinen't with a mini PC and performs super well. For real, great experience.

Second place to CachyOS, bleeding edge performance. Also arch based.

Those use special kernels with perf improvement s. I've also tried plain mint, good enough but debian base and slower kernel updates are not the best

Don't try debian, not the right tool for the job

My first Pico 8 game (WIP). You guys didn't exaggerate, making stuff here feels really cool. You are a game dev from the 80s, and a script kiddie at the same time. This is awesome.

#pico8 #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Hey masto, it's surprise release friday! A small game about a drunken pirate, available now on itch.io. Windows only for now, more desktop platforms, and android coming soon.

This was me learning Godot for the most part, so it's more a game that uses a bunch of systems to learn about them. Turned out pretty and funny in the end, so I'm releasing it as a freebie.

https://the-josefo.itch.io/captain-vertigo

#indiedev #gamedev #godot :godot:

What do you guys do when you have a couple of games you really want to finish and publish, but life keeps getting on the way? I decided to go to down into the hobbyist/indie path, but I still want to finish and publish stuff. #indiedev
