Two-Tone Dearly went radio silent back in September. A few days ago I was contacted by her brother and I found out why. She was hospitalized and her condition only worsened from there. She died from renal failure on April 25th. Her brother was able to log into her computer recently and reach out to her contacts to deliver the news.

I just realized it's kinda odd you cannot set personal nicknames/pronouns for Miis in Tomodachi Life beyond him, her and they. You can set nicknames a Mii uses for other Miis but not personal ones. Like I have a Miss Piggy Mii and I would love to see her to refer to herself as "Moi". Imagine the possibilities like having other Miis refer to themself in third person or by "this one" or "your Mii" or by a nickname you have for that Mii specifically? I think it would be a neat way to color the Miis even further.

That's a sound philosophy.

This. I am fine with re-imagining some characters as different races in stories if it serves the narrative. Having Elphaba played by a black actress in the Wicked film adaptation served the narrative since Elphaba was always a stand-in for marginalized people. The problem I see with race-swapping Harry Potter characters is that they tend to be very loaded, so race-swapping leads to a lot of complications that didn't exist before.

I remember when Cursed Child had a black actress playing Hermione Granger which I didn't have a problem with at face value, but suggesting that Hermione Granger is black presented a problem in the larger narrative. In Goblet of Fire, Hermione was advocating for House Elves only to be be told she was in the wrong. Imagine telling a black girl she's wrong for wanting to stop the subjugation of a sentient race and to be told that they are happier being slaves!

"Sometimes they" is good enough in my book. In a hypothetical world where this was a valid offer, you would not have to be strictly binary trans. The entire nonbinary umbrella which includes genderfluid, demigender, GNC, and genderqueer among others would also qualify for the sliders.

Okay, fair. I'll be frank. In the Battle for Azeroth expansion of World of Warcraft there is a loa named Akunda who takes the form of a thunder lizard. Loa are basically wild gods worshiped by the Trolls. Akunda is the loa of storms and new beginnings. In one quest it's revealed that one of his followers named Akunda the Exalted has poisoned Akunda and abused his powers to rob other Trolls of their memories, causing them all to be renamed "Akunda" such as Akunda the Calm, Akunda the Skilled, Akunda the Patient and so on. As a Horde hero you learn the truth about Akunda the Exalted and defeat him thus freeing Akunda and any other Troll whose memories were robbed by Akunda's powers. You can later get a toy called "Words of Akunda" which when used causing your character to say, "We are all Akunda." and you get a five minute buff where your name is changed to Akunda.
