it's changing: eurosky now allows 8k people to host their data in Europe, you can now host a relay on a rpi, choose between different app views... saying that bluesky isn't decentralized is like saying mastodon.social is centralized

it's also way easier to switch from pds/appview as it's way more modular than a mastodon instance, you can connect into any appview regardless of where your pds is. you can also change your pds hosting very easily and keeping all of your existing data from any service

It's even worse on AP because you never really delete a post as it's duplicated on a thousands different instances. Someone already did a firehose of activitypub but I can't remember his @

I agree with you, even if permissive data is coming this year. for the appview part, anyone can build his own and pick the data they want from the pds. there's also dozens of different alternatives already, which limits enchittification

permissive data/spaces is coming this year, and you can use E2EE messaging germ using your pds. if you want to delete any data, you can just connect to pds.ls and delete any record you want (e.g. all your likes, comments, etc)

if they want to monetize pds hosting, people can move their account into another pds/selfhost

if they want to show ads within feeds, people can change to another feed

I think any company needs to monetize and find funds to make any project sustainable. ATProto is far ahead of any open and interoperable protocol and is becoming less and less dependent from Bluesky everyday

et vendredi elle veut me montrer un truc et c pas jvois elle a matché un de ses potes (on a encore tous les 2 tinder psq on s'était dit qu'on se devait rien) qu'elle a déjà pécho mais j'en sais pas + sur leur relation juste ils se parlent encore des fois

le problème étant qu'elle m'invite à manger à son taf avec ses collègues, elle veut me réinviter chez elle avec ses darons et tout... en bref on fait tout comme un couple mais elle aime trop les mecs pour qu'on se remette ensemble

vers mi-décembre j'ai appris qu'elle avait ken avec mon meilleur pote en aout à plusieurs reprises et qu'ils m'avaient tous les 2 caché et menti sur ça alors qu'on sortait pas mal à 3 (il vivait quasi chez moi toutes les semaines)

j'ai en qq sortes passé l'éponge sur ça mais j'avais plus du tt confiance
