Core was one of the tapes I always kept close at hand to throw in the car stereo and blast riding into the arcade parking lot.<br/><br/><br/>I always had a funny feeling about Core though, because of the varying tone from song to song. “Dead &amp; Bloated” and “Sex Type Thing” were so obviously hard and grunge, but “Wicked Garden” and “Plush” had very different feels. By the time I came around to this one I had already been fully enmeshed in grunge and just having picked up a guitar for myself I began learning to play with a cover band (I was mostly a roadie helping set up and tear down sets) and learned many of the songs on this one thus realizing where all the metal bands got their influence. We Sold Our Soul For Rock’N’Roll blew me away with the combination of raw power and intricate playing along with the vocal power of Ozzy. Sorry for all the typos. <br/><br/>It’s probably a lot to do with who I follow at the moment, been here a couple weeks so far, maybe. I’d say 40% of what I see are BTC memes/conversations, 30% are nostr development memes/conversations, 20% are zap/zapathon related, and 10% are other memes or varied conversations.
