Advertised as a half but Strava thinks otherwise. A lovely run in mostly great conditions. It started cool with a light breeze but sunny along the first beach section. By the time we were back on the beach the wind was up and the sun had gone but the views of the sea carried me along. Chip time 1:50:07 which I&#39;m really pretty happy with.<br/>There was a group of runners from Coxhoe and it was a lovely mix along the run. Hanging around at the end gave me a severe case of jacket envy.<br/>That&#39;s my first half, apart from the cold and cramp in my feet and lower legs it was good, not sure about going any further though.<br/>I stopped off in Whitley Bay to catch up with a friend and get some lunch. The biggest challenge is gluts and frankly weird collections of food that just don&#39;t fit into the distribution models of food banks. Not everyone responds and respecting that is important but I&#39;ve found it&#39;s a great way to feel part of a community.
