@nprofile…6r7t I do not know the context of this or any of its surrounding events, however I would respectfully disagree with this, considering when it comes to composers and artists they are a business. Provided they still meet the deadline and provide the product that you are happy with, there is no real exclusivity unless you paid extra for the expedition.

@nprofile…6r7t From what I can see, the PR was to individualize the different file types since there were issues with other emulators. Although just seems like Apple has a very limited and restrictive system where the file types just completely break down.

@nprofile…6r7t @nprofile…rf6t Looking at some internal RetroArch discussions looks like the Apple file extension system is severely limited. There was a fix put in with https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/pull/16583 which made every file type individually unique, do not know how HyperCardPreview handles it though.

Instead of developing other methods or a vaccine, maybe just like actually cooking the eggs, the big companies just took money from the government as compensation for the losses.

@nprofile…typy It is much more complicated than that, republicans rely heavily on an unfair advantage through gerrymandering to win. Additionally as well, this time around Democrats decided to not bother voting in toss-up states. Pair these with a winner takes all system which encourages having an unfair advantage. Regardless of who wins though, the system is completely broken and neither wants it to change.

@nprofile…typy Regarding the first paragraph, Canadians are definitely welcome here in Pittsburgh and it is rather safe here. We definitely do not like what is happening because it hurts us much as well, just sadly not enough people who can do something about it nationally even care to do anything about it. It sucks being weaponized.

An example here is this code, in C, where if popping from the Java stack were to say fail then sjme_error_vmError() with the frame context could emit a Java exception and toss an exception handler accordingly. This simplifies having to specifically add tons of extra cases or code just to handle these exceptional situations.

Because everything in SquirrelJME basically returns a sjme_errorCode, I can just do VM exception injection whenever something happens at any point so the JVM gets a shiny new exception to handle.

@nprofile…y4h5 Probably from what used to be a warning that has turned into an error, like implicit type cast for pointers. Newer GCC has gotten way more strict.

@nprofile…y4h5 I know a bunch of programs that just crash because they totally do not expect big endian or unaligned memory access. I always like running stuff on PowerPC occasionally to make sure things still work fine.
