I wish I could remember the model or find the article but a year or so ago I read that an android phone model was found to be communicating with networks even while the phone was powered off.<br/><br/>To be clear, it&#39;s not that I don&#39;t trust you. Banking and navigation are the biggest problems for me but others have propriety networks being used by their employer. The biggest problem is there aren&#39;t any real stepping stones... If I want to read about something in a small town 5 states away I&#39;m not about to get an annual subscription to read just 1 or 2 articles. I suspect if all of these outlets worked together to provide reciprocal memberships/subscriptions we would see a lot more people subscribing.
