please for the worlds sake don't just remember this in the midterms etc, I'm sadly really not confident anymore you can get out of this by vote. The world needs you on the streets. We need a USA where entire states get to a standstill until something changes. We need organized civil disobedience. I know it's hard and it can get you in real trouble but the toll for humanity will be immense if you don't stop you're fascist dictator. Please do more.

that was my first laptop and it was already used and old when I got it. It has it's RAM ubgraded to the maximum of 1GB runs the fastest readily available PIII, has an SSD and is a beast. No real performance issues thou I obviously won't play any games from the last 10 years on it. Windows 98SE or Linux. I wont throw that thing away anytime soon. Though I'm using it a bit less lately.

Linux is better in this regard but not perfect. Let me sing you a song of how I struggled to browse the web on a 1999 IBM Thinkpad T23 with a Pentium III CPU.
No modern browser supports that CPU. You can modify firefox with enough technical knowledge to run on that thing but... apart from some very simple text based browsers, no support for that CPU.

no human visitor would use such an old firefox? I have a laptop that actively uses Firefox 57 or around that version, because said laptop has a Pentium III and that doesn’t support some instruction sets which newer firefox (and all other modern browsers) require)… please don‘t just „ban old browsers“ and the like, navigating the wen on old hardware is already more than sufficiently inconvenient and frustrating.

what makes it “difficult” is that Iran, Hamas or Hizbollah definitely aren’t good guys either and people saidly excuse a lot of abhorrent behavior when it’s against “bad guys”. Especially in the US. I’m repeating myself here but bad actions of one party don’t excuse worse actions of another. Netanyahu must be stopped if we want any chance of peace and an end to all that killing. The genocide in Gaza is inexcusable. No genocide can be excused.
