It&amp;#39;s a tall order, and frankly, I&amp;#39;m not sure they are up to it.

I think Lewis&amp;#39; strength is in making the reader care about something. I really can&amp;#39;t stand baseball as a sport (boring, too many games, filthy amounts of money, undeserved special legal status, etc.) but he made me interested in it for as long as I was reading Moneyball.

His &amp;#34;Who is Government?&amp;#34; series in the Washington Post reclaimed some of the disappointment I had after reading The Fifth Risk. And I think his other works (Flashboys, The Big Short) hold up much better than anything Gladwell has put to paper, even if some of Lewis more recent stuff seems to have jumped the shark.

      I don&amp;#39;t usually give Elon Musk any attention, but I think it&amp;#39;s pretty clear that his Robovan in 2024 has the same purpose that his Hyperloop vaporware did in 2018: draw attention and resources away from transit methods that *actually work* so he can keep selling individual vehicles.

It&amp;#39;s annoying that stoves and fridges and thermostats have touchscreens, but at least they don&amp;#39;t risk injury or death like car touchscreen controls. NHTSA should have prohibited them years ago, it&amp;#39;s a regulatory failure.

When I have asked clubs/schools/teams to also communicate another way (email, website, anything really) they look at me like I&amp;#39;m crazy.
