Today I visited The Rouss Glam and got a pleasant surprise.
A while ago I told her about Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and to my delight, she still had her Cashonize wallet installed. It’s amazing! It’s been quite some time since my first visit and she continues to trust in BCH.
I made a small purchase and left her an extra tip in BCH. Even though her business is focused on women’s aesthetics and beauty, I wanted to support and encourage her.

The BCH community is focusing too much on rewarding users for shopping at stores added to their platforms… while forgetting the most important part: rewarding and highlighting the merchants who are doing the real hard work of accepting BCH every single day.There are real merchants and daily users who accept and use Bitcoin Cash consistently, yet they don’t appear on any lists, receive no recognition, and many are never even contacted. Some don’t seek fame.
Others have limited resources or aren’t part of the usual circles.
Instead of going out to find them and researching who is truly driving adoption on the ground, the community prefers to centralize everything in a few platforms and constantly talk about “verification.”Bitcoin Cash is permissionless and consensus-driven. No business should need approval from a central directory to be recognized.We’ve funded many projects… some work, others seem fictional or simply don’t deliver real adoption results.It’s time to shift the focus:

It is truly incredible how versatile promoting BCH can be, given the tools we have at our disposal; however, developers focus on creating apps but rarely promote them, so they end up being forgotten. I know I might sound old-fashioned, but I’ve achieved greater adoption by spreading the word through face-to-face interaction than by using tools or social media to talk about what I’m doing. I’m certain there are far more people using BCH—and merchants accepting it—than you might imagine; it may not always be visible on the surface, but everything is recorded on the blockchain and shows up in the transaction data.

It’s a good tool for accepting BCH payments, but sometimes it’s better to simply show merchants how to use wallets—teaching them to send and receive BCH and how to exchange it for another currency. Tools beyond the basic wallet functions should be aimed at more experienced users; in my region, at least, people just want to send and receive, and these extra processes make adoption feel tedious. While I understand they are useful tools, they can be complicated for new users.

I've tried adding merchants who accept BCH payments to my Paytaca wallet, but without success. I'm not sure if it's my device or an app bug, as I previously reported a problem with the app and was told that certain features are limited in my region. I have managed to get some businesses in my area to adopt BCH... I'll visit some of the merchants who have adopted BCH to register the transaction, and if they could somehow help me add them to the Paytaca map, that would be a huge step forward.

BCH is essentially cash that can be used to buy almost anything; if a place doesn't accept it, it’s simply because they don't yet understand the concept or are completely unfamiliar with it. I use BCH for food, transportation, and the occasional recreational purchase. My goal is to teach merchants how to accept and pay with BCH—or convert it to another currency if necessary—while emphasizing the use of BCH above all else.

BCH is essentially cash that can be used to buy almost anything; if a place doesn't accept it, it’s simply because they don't yet understand the concept or are completely unfamiliar with it. I use BCH for food, transportation, and the occasional recreational purchase. My goal is to teach merchants how to accept and pay with BCH—or convert it to another currency if necessary—while emphasizing the use of BCH above all else.

In the morning, at his favorite coffee shop, he paid for his espresso with BCH. As the transaction confirmed in under 10 seconds, he told the barista:

The barista, surprised, took his contact information.
At the supermarket, when the cashier asked if he was paying with a card, Lucas smiled and replied:
