Today I emailed an author to ask how to spell one of her character's names. I've read the series as audiobooks and none of the descriptions include his last name. Well now he's married to the main character and she has taken his name. So now I need to know how to spell it.

Have you written to an author? The last time I did was about 40 years ago in 6th grade and that was a homework assignment.

About fifteen years ago my in-laws gave us their old Honda Accord. The car had some issues but one of things it had that I used all the time was a multiple disc CD player. I made some mix tapes to play in it. The one that was in the number one spot had the music I could stand to listen to the most. And listen to it I did.

Now all these years later my husband and my oldest daughter have surprised me by admitting to having recreated that mix tape digitally (independently of each other) in their own music collections. I've caught both of them at one time or another listening to their version of the old mix tape.

This volume goes deeper into the mechanics of the current version of the city. To most it's not there. To a select few who have ties to the place, it is there. To an even smaller select few, those who have no knowledge of the previous places, it's also there (Yaomay).
