Obvious steganography spam could still be filtered at mempool policies.<br/><br/>I also disagree with him with the activation method being wrong. If we want economic users to have power over miners, we should not wait for their &#34;signaling&#34; approval to activate a thightning of the rules. We just do it.<br/><br/>I agree with him that the initial urgency framing of bip 110 was a bit weird and dangerous when applied to consensus. I respect the change of tone the bip adopted. I also agree with him that the changes should be good and permanent. But in theory, the fact of making them temporary are less risky because if we overthight the rules we would not need to hardfork later on to loosen the rules.
