Seven children needed emergency care in Columbus hospitals, two by helicopter airlift. Another day inside would have caused multiple deaths. Vinton County Sheriff Ryan Cain noted livestock had better conditions and called the scene disgusting.

The family evaded detection for decades by moving across southern Ohio and Wisconsin, avoiding records to hide the children. Neighbors three houses away for six years never saw any child there.

Four family members face sixteen counts each of second-degree felony child endangerment causing serious harm. They are Gary Siders Sr. (73), grandfather; Christina Siders (67), grandmother; Gary Siders Jr. (36), alleged father; and Elizabeth Siders (33), alleged mother. Each has a $300,000 bond. The children are in Ohio Department of Job and Family Services custody and now receive needed medical and psychological care. 🙏

Yet the Sheriff handed her a letter stating that she went before the judge within 24 hrs of her 6/1/2026 and this is untrue!

The public is outraged and we are demanding these public records held at Cambridge Municipal Court under Judge Stephanie Williams, be releases to us immediately!
