I realized I may have, er, too many computers. I've decided to let my Framework 13 go. It runs any Linux like a charm, suspends, wakes up, just works.

- Intel Core Ultra 125H
- 1TB nvme with additional 1TB card
- 96GB of DDR5 ($$$$$)
- 2.8K 120Hz screen
- Mint condition
- DBrand skin on the back (easy to remove)
- Windows 11 license (in firmware tables)

I have a bunch of extension cards but I will most likely keep them.

Lastly my 125H model is not as good as the latest and previous gen AMD. Perhaps reach out to other people for their data. I'm still very happy with it and despite pointing out the flaws, it's a great value of a machine.

Look at ebay, I got mine for a bit less than the new price. Someone didn't like it - it was brand new and apparently never opened prebuilt with windows.

I didn't do this sort of measurement but I always carry the power brick _and_ a huge 100W USB-PD battery. The framework, at least for me, wakes up in the backpack from time to time, which sucks and is "linux laptop experience" all over again. I didn't troubleshoot much as I know those things just never end. Maybe it's the flexible chassis that hits a key? Maybe the kernel of the day has a bug? Neither one can be prevented.

If you need to run Linux you need to pick your battles.

it's an interesting comparison: I have M2 max 16" with 96GB of RAM and 2TB nvme. A very strong machine by any standard. My 13" framework is a core ultra 1 125H with the same amount of ram and smaller nvme (1TB) - both aftermarket upgrades done at a very low cost (about $300 US maybe).

Both systems run Fedora to make the comparison interesting.

The M2 max is way faster, has less fan noise. It does not suspend well in Linux (drains battery fast overnight). Kernel page size is annoying.

I didn't take enough photos of interesting things being presented today but Ubuntu phone and #UBports has a special place in my heart. I was involved in the phone project and, together with the canonical certification team, shipped a complex testing app on this platform. It is amazing to see it alive and kicking in 2024 at the #UbuntuSummit.
