(I don&#39;t say that anyone has to agree with them for that, it&#39;s just not really communism because that would be the polar opposite if you look at the communist countries of the world and how they handled criminals). I&#39;ve noticed that a lot of things people in the US call socialist or communist is still just your standard capitalist fare but with some health-care sprinkled on top. (I don&#39;t say it&#39;s better or worse), which is kinda confusing.<br/><br/>I will say though, that it sounds like the US has some insane social issue if that many inhabitants think petty crime is worth it to make due instead of just working a normal day job. I don&#39;t really understand how the culture around people being without work or basic amendments is like, but it feels like you could curb-stomp a lot of these crimes by working that social bottom-line issue for some generation or two, since statistically speaking making punishment harder / longer usually just results to the person doing the crime usually just results in the criminal working harder in not getting caught (which a lot of times just includes murder instead).
