It’s roundness is inviting and playful. It was nice to have seen the logo visually evolve over the years. Naming the platform twitter was a thoughtful and lighthearted way to it support its purpose. The usage of the word tweet reinforced this. When I first joined I didn’t tweet for years. Mainly because it was intimidating for me. I’m more of a visual person and even writing this concisely is difficult. But I loved reading tweets throughout the day and was amazed at how funny and clever people could be in a limited amount of characters. I loved the audience/the users because they made the platform. To me Twitter was a conduit for diversity with all the feels, a variety to topics and people, the latest tech, real time news and artists, writers and celebrities that were surprisingly opinionated and/or astute.
