We lived out in the country. Lived out in the country all my life. One night my friend and I had discussed getting together at his house to hang out. He lived down the road from us down in a holler next to the river. We were planning on drinking and having a few other friends over. My mom wasn&#39;t too hot about us drinking but she told me that we were to stay at his house and not go into town.<br/><br/>With that permission I began to walk down the road and down the hill to his house. When you get down the hill you had woods to the left of you and a massive cornfield to the right. A little further down the road curved to the left and you were then surrounded by woods. after a bit the road would curve back off to the right and the houses began to come into view and the woods were still on the right.<br/><br/>As I was making my way around this little curve I heard a sound. A sound I have never heard any animals make my entire life living in the country. The sound was like a mix between a scream and a roar. Two sounds coming from the same source. It made my chest vibrate and filled me with an instant feeling of immense dread and fear. I mean this sounded like whatever made the noise had to be big and the lung capacity it took to make that sound must have been massive. <br/><br/>I took off like a shot and ran the entire way to my friend&#39;s house. I ended up staying the night because I was not going to walk back up that road to get to my house that night. I never saw anything but there have been reported sightings in my area of Sasquatch and all throughout my state really. I live in the Midwest in the USA.
