Unless on purpose, the title has typos and should be "How computers work" (I personally would ditch the !!).

I have a large screen but don't use full-screen for most programs including browser as seen from shot, hence only later I saw the protocol at bottom. Also, since most of the exmples I tried don't load in a frame, maybe make your "browser" smaller?

Finally, at my age it's too fast, so I used the "next step" i/o "play".

I have 14k notes in a Joplin (npub1ukv…jwnz) store and have had no issues at all syncing via WebDAV and four devices using an aging Apache configuration.

For reasons (stupidity comes to mind) I thought I'd modernise a bit and use Caddy. Since yesterday PM I'm seeing notes disappear, Joplin display errors that sync cannot continue b/c Failsafe, and whatnot.

Re-installed Joplin twice on macOS and a fresh download all shows nothing.

Now back to Apache, and all is back to working!

Six years ago tomorrow, I drove to #FOSDEM, invited by Peter van Dijk (npub1rj0…75fw) and Pieter Lexis (npub1rqu…l508) to moderate a "DNS Privacy" panel, and to meet daniel:// stenberg:// (npub1cm0…enqe) (and ask him for a curl sticker).

The panel (video at https://archive.fosdem.org/2019/schedule/event/dns_privacy_panel/ ) was a good event, I thought, and I greatly enjoyed seeing Stéphane Bortzmeyer (npub13gj…fay0) and [@bert_hubert](https://fosstodon.org/@bert_hubert ) again.

Daniel later blogged about it (https://daniel.haxx.se/blog/2019/02/05/my-10th-fosdem/) and I was tickled when he wrote "Moderator Jan-Piet Mens did an excellent job I think" <3
