From what I understand from a third party in the prison Nelson was bleeding heavily and has been downplaying the situation. Now Nelson says his mental suffering from the situation is worse and he hasn't been able to sleep because of it.
He says the pain is manageable, but he doesn't have money for medication nor does he has enough to keep himself fet.
His situation seems to be changing for the worse and without help it seems less en less likely he recovers. He needs help!

Honestly I don't find MAPs against MAPs a weird concept seeing how extremely hostile, toxic and selfish most in the 'community' are. But there is no reason for internalized MAP-fobia.
