One thing I forgot to mention is that a lot of these games are also going style over substance. And their loops become extremely shallow. I think of games like Spiderman or Horizon. Games that look amazing but ultimately are barely games. They&#39;re more movie than game. What if they spent less money texturing the face and more into the game itself? At some point there should have been a correction on the base price of games. Selling them for cheap as they&#39;ve been the last 15 years or so feels unsustainable as the scope creeps higher and higher.<br/><br/>The fact that games are so cheap causes people to easily discard and neglect games because they&#39;re so cheap.
