Good news, I found the onion powder!

And the tangerine juice is really nice for a mimosa - so much better than regular orange juice. Grapefruit will always be my fav, but this is good!

I also realized that when I buy champagne, it needs the "freezer tape with a date on it" treatment - seems one of the two bottles in the fridge was REALLY old and let out the most anemic pop on opening I've ever heard. (I don't buy fancy vintage champagne, there are no dates anywhere on these bottles, LOL.)

I forgot to take a picture before I started putting the clear bits on top, so imagine the first picture without those two square pieces.

Took the second at that weird angle so it is a little easier to see where the squares are on top. If all goes well, it should result in the stringers going all wavy.

My grandmother and her older sister (the "wild child") had been estranged as long as I could remember - not sure what happened that they began calling each other on Christmas once they hit their 80s. (Huge for my grandmother.)

Big, BIG props to Jorge tonight!

My brother tripped over something in the living room while Jorge was in the kitchen.

Jorge was VERY startled, jumped about 3 feet in the air and hauled ass to the hallway with a SUPER puffy tail.

He unpuffed very quickly and retreated to the basement for a bit of self regulation, and came back up just looking for snacks and headbutts.

So happy he knows he can just leave for a bit and chill out vs. freaking out.

Good morning pocket friends!

Cold but bright out there this morning and I’m trying to plot out my day so I’m not zig zagging all over south county.

And the vendor I wanted to look at again from yesterday will be at another market next weekend, so that’s one thing off the list.

Very excited to drop off my piece for the student show at the workhouse! It’s my sunflower piece and in retrospect, I should have named it, “Look Ma, I cut a circle!”

Can't wait to see what everyone else enters.
