Everyone wants to do the stunt telling where "um ackshually the heroic empire is ackshually." Just look at Witcher. But also with CoE/Dom it's the sort of setting where the Voice of El faction, the most Catholic coded faction, has a valid path to victory trying to start armageddon spawning a bunch of pissed off angels from the angel plane down on the map so the Voice of El player can try to lose last in all that chaos. It's a game where everyone has to be a bit of an asshole and everything from angels to demons to cthulu shit all has to be a boss fight you can beat up or preferably bring to your enemies to have him beat THEM up. Dom especially, in the same setting, has you playing as a customizable god of some faction and every single possible autistic mythos combination has some faction representation there.
