That is the AEA KU5A. It&#39;s an active supercardioid ribbon mic. It has a very healthy output because of the active electronics so it avoids the common Ribbon mic issue of being too quiet. And it&#39;s also supercardioid, so fewer issues comb filtering on the rear lobe of sensitivity indoors.
