Normally when I find these beautiful flowers they show some signs of heat damage with some blackening on the outside edge of the flower. These particular lilies were perfect. The Ski Patrol had been working avalanche patrol since I arrived. On the second day there they had set off a controlled explosion on a large cornice starting this avalanche.
