Not free to post your half-formed thoughts into an algorithmic void and watch the dopamine counter tick upward as strangers validate your managed dissent.

Actually free.

The question itself is dangerous, which is precisely why it rarely gets asked in polite company. We have been so thoroughly brainwashed into accepting a particular conception of liberty. One that is, at its core, a commercial and managerial concept dressed in the language of revolution, so much so that genuine freedom has become almost unthinkable. Not forbidden. Unthinkable. There is an important difference. The cage is most effective when the bird cannot conceive of the sky.

So let us start from the beginning. Not from your first political opinion, or your first brush with injustice, or the first time an institution disappointed you. From the very beginning. Because that is where the design starts.

The Architecture of Permissioned Existence

Before you drew your first breath, the system had already laid its claim. A certificate was issued. A number was assigned. You were entered into ledgers; municipal, medical, demographic, well constructed data points that would follow you for the rest of your life, cataloguing your passage through institutions that existed long before you arrived and will persist long after you are gone. You did not consent to this. Nobody asked. The state, that magnificent fiction we have all agreed to treat as though it were a force of nature, had plans for you.

Then came education, which was never designed to produce free-thinking individuals. That is not a conspiracy theory, but it is well-documented institutional history. The compulsory schooling systems of the industrialized world were engineered, explicitly and without embarrassment, to produce compliant factory workers and obedient soldiers. To instill punctuality, deference to authority, tolerance for repetitive tasks, and the critical capacity to regurgitate sanctioned information on demand. The Prussian model. The bells. The rows of desks. The permission required to speak, to move, to relieve yourself. They beat you into compliance before you were old enough to understand what was being taken.

Simultaneously, while the school shaped your habits, the media shaped your desires. Television, and now the infinite scroll of algorithmically curated content, did not emerge as a neutral technology for the dissemination of information. It emerged as the most efficient propaganda apparatus in human history. The genius of it, the truly diabolical genius, is that it does not explicitly tell you what to think. It tells you what to think about. It sets the menu. It defines the parameters of acceptable discourse. It manufactures the cultural air you breathe so completely that questioning it feels like questioning gravity.

The Ratchet: How Freedom Dies in Increments

The powers that be have perfected an ancient formula of bread and circuses, updated for the digital age. Keep the supply endless. Keep the entertainment flowing. Keep the outrage fresh and the dopamine hits coming. The more absorbed you are in the spectacle, the less you notice the slow tightening of the noose around your neck.

Each law passed to "protect democracy." Each regulation imposed to "keep you safe." Each crisis leveraged to "ensure security." Your freedom, whatever remains of it, is gradually chipped away with surgical precision. One regulation at a time, one law at a time and one manufactured emergency at a time. The cage builds itself around you while you argue about which cage decorator you prefer.

This is the ratchet mechanism of the modern state; it always clicks forward with every crisis, every panic, every solemn declaration that extraordinary measures are temporarily necessary. It never clicks back. As I write this, Tunisia has been living under a state of emergency since 2015 and it was recently extended by another 11 months to 31 December 2026. When the state of emergency was initially imposed, it was meant to be temporary. 10 years later here we are. The emergency powers of yesterday become the administrative infrastructure of tomorrow, and within a generation, no one remembers what it looked like before the ratchet turned.

Another additional example of this, that crystallizes the architecture rather than merely describing it, would be to look at what the Epstein files revealed. Not a conspiracy but a geometry. A shape that was always there, visible to anyone willing to look without flinching. Sealed documents. Strategic redactions. Quiet settlements. Zero accountability. Not for any of them. Not one. The silence that followed was not the silence of investigation or accountability. It was the silence of consensus, the kind that descends when everyone in the room already knows the rules, and you are not in the room.

The same people who cannot be prosecuted are the same people who set the rules of prosecution. This is not a bug. It is the system working exactly as designed; for them. Rules for thee but not for me.

The heartbreaking part about all of this is that some people never wake up. Even after the state put them under house arrest and crushed their businesses for the greater good during covid; the penny never drops.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free while surrendering more than half their income to entities that treat them as revenue streams. "It's for the greater good," they recite, like monks chanting a liturgy they have never questioned. "It's the price of civilization." As if civilization itself demanded your perpetual impoverishment.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free while every asset they have accumulated comes shackled with debt, not ownership, but the illusion of it.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free while possessing zero financial privacy, every transaction monitored and tracked by systems that view them as data points rather than human beings.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free while accepting healthcare directives from malthusian pedophiles and the institutions they control, with documented histories of placing profit above people.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free while having no say in what enters their children's minds in the state-sponsored indoctrination centers we have agreed to call schools.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free when every opinion they hold is a media-approved talking point delivered with the confidence of original thought.

They genuinely believe themselves to be free while central banks systematically plunder their purchasing power, via inflation and taxes. Theft rendered invisible through the technical language of monetary policy.

This voluntary blindness is not stupidity. It is something more tragic. It is the profound human need for the story to make sense, for the authorities to be trustworthy, for the sacrifice to be worth something. It is easier to believe you are free and the system is just than to confront the alternative. The alternative is the abyss, that the institutions you were raised to revere exist primarily to manage and extract from you, and that your consent, manufactured from birth, is the most valuable commodity they produce.

The Masterwork: Making the Cage Feel Like a Garden

As accurately predicted in the novel, “The Brave New World”, the chains of comfort are far more effective than those of coercion.

You can choose between thirty-seven varieties of cereal, each nutritionally indistinguishable and all industrial slop, each marketed to a slightly different demographic identity. You can curate a personal brand, express your authentic self, align your consumption with your values; buy the ethical sneakers, drink the fair-trade coffee, signal your tribe with the bumper sticker, the tote bag, the profile picture filter. You can binge-watch entire universes of content designed, with extraordinary psychological sophistication, to keep you seated, passive, and emotionally agitated just enough to stay engaged but never enough to act.

You can vote. Oh yes, you can vote. You can vote with such enthusiasm, such tribal ferocity, such absolute conviction that this time the right candidate will fix the fundamentally broken machinery of a system captured, at every meaningful level, by concentrated financial interests that pre-date and will outlast any individual politician. The voting ritual is perhaps the most elegant component of the whole apparatus because it produces genuine participation, genuine emotional investment, a genuine sense of agency, while changing, at the structural level, almost nothing. Left and right are not opposing forces. They are the two hands of the same institution, taking turns holding the pen that signs your enslavement into law.

This is permissioned existence in its most refined form. The freedom to move within a space whose boundaries have been carefully designed for you by people who understood, better than you, what a contained human being looks like.

The legal system codifies your limitations. The financial system enforces them. You will need a number to work. A score to borrow. A license to build, to drive, to practice medicine, to braid hair, to sell food from a cart. Every act of economic self-determination passes through a tollgate administered by the state or the institutions the state has empowered. Debt is not an accident of the system. It is the system. A person carrying debt is a person who cannot afford principles. A person who cannot afford principles is a person who will not make trouble.

Through it all, the messaging remains relentlessly, infuriatingly consistent: you are free. The freest people in human history. Protected by laws, guaranteed rights, liberated by technology. Be grateful. Stay calm. Trust the institutions. Follow the science. Trust the experts. The experts agree.

What Real Freedom Actually Costs

Here is what nobody in a position of comfort will tell you, real freedom is not always convenient.

It does not come with a subscription or a loyalty program. It does not feel like the relief of clicking "agree" on a terms-of-service document you never read. It does not arrive with a community of like-minded individuals who will affirm your choices and tell you that your liberation is valid and your journey is brave.

Real freedom is challenging because it is inseparable from real responsibility.

When you are free — genuinely, uncomfortably, nakedly free — you cannot blame the system for your outcomes, because you have stepped outside the system's protection as well as its control. You cannot appeal to institutions you have refused to recognize as legitimate. You cannot demand rights from a state whose authority you have rejected. Real freedom means looking at the life you are living and asking, with genuine ruthlessness, how much of it is yours. How much of what you believe was chosen, and how much was simply in the water?

Some will call this paranoid. Extreme. Dramatic. These are words deployed by people who have not yet felt the ground shift, or who have decided, consciously or not, that the comfort of the present arrangement is worth the price of the future it implies. That is a legitimate choice. It is also a choice made by someone who still believes the institution will honour its obligations when the moment arrives. The evidence suggests otherwise. The institutions governing monetary policy, legal accountability, and political power have demonstrated, repeatedly and without apology, a consistent willingness to protect themselves at the expense of everyone else. This is not a fringe position. It is legible in the data, in the documents, in the outcomes. Believing otherwise now requires an active effort not to see.

These are not comfortable questions. They are not questions that resolve cleanly. But they are the questions that real freedom demands you sit with, without flinching, without the reassurance of an authority to tell you when you have gone far enough.

The Unforgivable Clarity: Seeing the System for What It Is

Once you see the system for what it is, you cannot unsee it.

It is not a political awakening, precisely, as politics is still another managed space, another permission economy, another menu of pre-approved options served up with the pageantry of choice. It is something older and more irreversible. It is the moment when the machinery becomes visible. When the cheerful noise of the culture reveals itself as signal, not background. When you can read the interests behind the institutions, the incentives behind the information, the architecture of the cage in the very structure of what you have been taught to call common sense.

Exit, Not Reform

The solution is not reform. This must be stated plainly, because the reform illusion is the most durable and most beloved of the system's self-preservation mechanisms.

You cannot reform an institution whose fundamental architecture is designed for your containment. You cannot petition your way to sovereignty. You cannot vote your way out of tyranny or for a candidate who will dismantle the very machinery that elevated them. Revolutions beg the old power to step aside and usually install a new version of the same arrangement. The state does not produce liberty but it only produces managed, licensed, permissioned approximations of liberty, and it extracts a toll for every inch.

The option that is never offered; because it cannot be managed, is this: you can leave.

Not geographically, though some do, obtaining second passports, diversifying legal jurisdictions, removing themselves from the blast radius of a single state's failures. Not mentally, that is dissociation with better branding. Financially. Structurally. You can remove your economic self from the ledger of institutions that have demonstrated, repeatedly and without apology, that the rules are tiered.

Some exit socially, building parallel communities with alternative trust networks and mutual aid that do not run through captured institutions. Some exit professionally, choosing paths that do not require participation in systems they have concluded are rigged. Financial exit is one tool among many, but it is a uniquely powerful one, because money is the infrastructure of everything else. Control the money, and you control the terms of every negotiation that follows.

Which brings us to the most consequential technical development of our era, one the financial press and the political class work very hard to frame as either a speculative asset or a criminal enterprise, because neither framing requires them to engage with what it actually is.

Right now, you are a resource in someone else's ledger, valued for your productivity, your compliance, and your willingness to keep playing. That is not a metaphor but a precise description of how the system categorizes you. The question is whether you have decided to accept that categorization as permanent.

Opting out of that system, partially, financially, quietly is not rebellion for its own sake. It is not a manifesto or a movement or a demand. It is the same rational calculation a person makes when they stop relying on a contractor who has repeatedly failed to show up. You find a different arrangement. You reduce your exposure. You stop being surprised when institutions designed to serve themselves serve themselves.

This does not require a party, a platform, or a charismatic leader promising to return power to the people. Leaders who promise to return power to the people are, with a reliability that should be instructive, people who intend to accumulate that power themselves. What is required is something more fundamental and less glamorous: a reorientation, executed one sovereign decision at a time.

The refusal to confuse the freedom to choose between pre-approved options with the freedom to refuse the menu entirely.

The refusal to mistake the performance of citizenship for genuine political agency.

The refusal to mistake comfort for liberty — and the recognition that the most dangerous chains are the ones that feel, over time, like a second skin.

You do not need a manifesto. You do not need a movement. You do not need anyone's permission.

In the early 2000s, Libya was one of the wealthiest nations in Africa (if not the most). They wanted to arm themselves as any sensible nation would. NATO and the US did not like this. As they had already rung the bell of “middle eastern country X is crazy psychotic and is trying to get a nuclear bomb to end the world” for decades at this point (and still is to this day) and just seem to keep swapping out what X equals. They played all the same cards with Ghaddafi in Libya; weapons of mass destruction, trying to get a bomb, violent regime, gonna mindlessly destroy the west, blah blah. Ghaddafi decided he had no desire to be the enemy of choice for the west and wanted to be seen as a friendly and cooperative partner. They became the literal poster child of disarmament and compliance, they welcomed NATO and played by all the rules. Removed all their nuclear and weapons programs and let the US and NATO check all their work in becoming defenseless. It went so far that the US and NATO even hailed them as the example *for* Iran, which is super ironic as Iran is probably behaving exactly as the Libyan example would teach them.

So what happened?

Within just a few short years the CIA began funding terrorist groups and rebel militant groups. In a relatively short span the rebels, with bizarrely deep pockets (shocker) kept growing and beckk ok ing more violent until in 2011, they toppled the regime, killed most of Ghaddafi’s family, and the rebels (literally on video) drug Ghaddafi out into the street and sodomized him with a bayonet for a bit before blowing his brains out.

This was his reward for compliance after he got put in the “country X” blank in the endlessly touted propaganda talking point. The ultimate result was an externally funded civil war that destroyed the stability of the nation.

Today, Libya is literally a failed state. They went from nearly the wealthiest nation in Africa to a violent, chaotic, human rights horror show ever since and last I knew there are multiple violent militant groups trying to gain control supported with weapons and funding by various external nations including China, the US, Israel, Russia, the UAE, etc. The rape, torture, political suppression, and murder of the citizens who got stuck there is just kinda part of the daily activities.

This all happened barely over 10 years ago.

SO… if I were in the position of the govt of Iran, whether I was an authoritarian lunatic, a libertarian, supporter of a strong republic, whoever I was - doesn’t matter - I would be absolutely certain of one thing: the US, NATO, and Israeli govts were not my friend. I would, as a rule, wake up and first thing every morning watch Ghaddafi get sodomized by a bayonet and repeat the words, “do not comply” 5 times in a row before starting my day. I would fully believe that unless I could defend myself, and possibly unless I had a nuclear bomb, nothing at all would stop them from killing me, my family, and completely destroying my country. Especially since my country had been “country X” spot just “months away from a nuclear bomb” since the 1990s.

Now the Iranian govt is pretty awful, they *all* are, but I have absolutely no doubt that the US and Israel swooping in to “bomb the solution” into them means nothing but an absolutely horrible future for the millions of innocent people who live there - I would love to be wrong, but I feel it will turn out just like thinking Trump was going to massively cut the US budget. And I find it slightly ironic that you consider me the naive one, when you seem to believe attacking Iran will make this all better or do anything but make the risk of *all* of these horrible outcomes even greater. I can’t come up with any reason why someone in the Iranian regime would be so foolish as to think leaving their country defenseless was anything less than a ticket to be raped by a short rusty sword.

And importantly, **this has nothing to do with whether it’s true, it’s just what someone with common sense would conclude.** Maybe Trump is different, but where’s the evidence of that really? 😒

I certainly don’t like the idea of Iran having a nuclear bomb, but I completely understand why they probably think they have no choice, IF that’s what they’re doing (I also have no reason to trust any of the bullshit spouted by the establishment and can’t fathom taking them at their word on this), as the only countries that the west does NOT seem to arbitrarily install dictators in, start civil wars in, fund terrorists to overthrow, or bomb to the ends of the earth, are ones that have nuclear weapons… 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is “Afghanistan attacked us, we must invade Iraq!” all over again. It almost even rhymes, “Palestine attacked us, we must invade Iran!” (Also funny that we funded Al Qeada in Afghanistan, and Israel funded Hamas in Palestine to destabilize them, create violence, and make the excuse for war easy) And Israel bombed Iran first on the *exact* same claims that they were “funding terrorists,” (the irony being that the two literal champions of terrorist funding are the ones banging this drum) and about to have a nuclear bomb to destroy the world. Because apparently literally every single country with too much oil and no nuclear deterrent has a death wish.

I just refuse to buy the literal exact same lines again, and I think you are smart enough to realize that something doesn’t add up here. Personally I’m sick of being lied into wars and then pretending like “we didn’t know” when we find out later that everything they said was utter horseshit, which it always is.

Seriously, have you ever even really looked at them when they are saying that “our sources know they are 🤏 this close!”? Netanyahu literally held up a picture of an ACME cartoon bomb with some lines on it that said 60% and 90% that were filling it up. Come on? They think we are all completely retarded and how they talk to is exactly in line with that.

- Hide all the technologies that free humanity (e.g. free energy).

- Start inflating the currency so that people must work 7 days a week to survive and don't have time to think.

11. If the Elites are releasing a technology to the plebs, they have to make there is a really good reason:

- Running water where you can put fluoride or other medicines that make the plebs less intelligent, weaker, sicker.

- Newspapers, Radio, Television for spreading propaganda and brainwashing the plebs.

- Every once in a while you can give the plebs a technology that serves them but doesn't free them too much, as the plebs have to think that they are the most advanced civilization in the history of the World, and everyone who came before them is retarded.

12. The ideal pleb is sick, stupid, poor and unarmed, so the Elites want to hit as many of these as possible.

- To make the people stupid, you have to give kids fluoridated drinking water and make them spend the first 20 years of their life in indoctrination facilities where they are taught what to think and not how to think. When you exclude reading, writing, algebra and foreign languages, everything else has to be a lie or irrelevant. You have to discourage the kids to use their brain, their eyes, their senses by forcing them to memorize countless, nonsensical stories that you present as facts.

- The most direct, controlled way to make people sick is to convince them to inject a vaccine into their arm. Even spraying them with heavy metals from the sky is not as precise. Obviously, viruses don't exist, but with enough brainwashing you can convince the plebs to voluntarily inject poison into their arms.

- To make sure the plebs are unarmed, even after wars, you have to stage false-flag events where "a complete psycho" uses guns to shoot-up a cinema, a school, a hospital, etc. If executed correctly "Problem -> Reaction -> Solution" works every time.

- To make the plebs poor, you have to use inflation, taxation and some of the freshly-printed pieces of paper that you somehow convinced the plebs to believe in. This is very easy to do if you own almost every Central Bank in the World.

13. This is where everyone asks "Oh man, do you know how many people would have to be in on conspiracy XYZ for it to work?".

- But if you use your brain, you know that incentives determine outcomes, and the incentives in a system are controlled by very few people.

- Do you know how many people have to be in on the conspiracy where doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the press destroys information, religion destroys morals and banks destroy the economy?

- You don't need that many people, you just have to corrupt the incentives.

14. Here, it's important to note that most people are inherently good.

- They don't want to kill, rape, rob, and enslave other people. And even more-so, they don't want to plan and execute the mass-murder and mass-enslavement of other people.

- To address this, you have to invent a religion consisting of people who have no problem doing these things to the rest of the World.

- As long as the person is not of the chosen tribe, you can kill, rape, rob and enslave them.

15. Mistakes will be made, but you control every outlet of information in the entire World, so you are very much untouchable.

I'll try to describe my thoughts again in more detail

1. The only thing you have proven mathematically is that the bases of both platforms should be covered by the physical horizon. The video clearly shows that this is not the case. You can even see water behind the platforms.

2. If the physical horizon can be seen at 2.74 miles (which is not the case because the horizon is behind the platforms), the horizon should also have a curve. It is supposed to be a sphere and not a big rolling pin. However, the horizon is always „horizontal“ no matter how high you go (fisheye lenses excluded of course).

3. To see the horizon, you always have to look down a little or a little bit more. The higher the altitude, the further down you have to look. But the horizon is always at eye level, no matter how high the altitude is.

This is not a fight to defeat someone. We are not enemies just because we debate.
