Y'all, I just don't have the motivation to art. For once, I can't blame it on an art block or lack of ideas or executive dysfunction or some shit like that. I just feel like drawing is sorta kinda pointless given my current goal of reducing mine and hubbind's debt so we can get the fuck out of Louisiana.

I feel like I'm internally sounding like my folks when they told me that art ain't gonna pay the bills when I was a kid. On the other hand, I know that the art isn't moneying because 1) we all fuckin broke, and 2) I kinda shot myself in the foot when I decided to fuck off of the major social media sites.

I know I will come back, because art isn't something I can just get rid of. I know, because I tried to "quit" art so many times when I slipped into the occasional depressive spiral in the past. But holy shit it feels pretty rough right now.
