Recent ones (matching what you report) always from a gmail address. As you say, run of the mill.<br/><br/>The other one I&#39;m talking about is a real paypal mail (forwarded), with a real live paypal &#34;pay-me&#34; link (it was created through paypal, and if one is logged into paypal and clicks through, will pay the scammer). The message is an unmodified message from Paypal to the spammer as recipient. So the DKIM detects no tampering. Then the mail is given a new envelope sender and resent to the victim. These pass SPF. So the indicator of spam is not DKIM or SPF, but that the header recipient does not match the envelope recipient.
