I hate so much the obscene contortions these companies make people do, to get their messages across in a way that suits the company. It is so cruel and evil because so many good, smart and passionate people are giving up so much of those qualities just to be even slightly heard

This is pretty wild: climate funds are being used to expand highways. It is justified on the grounds that more lanes = fewer idling cars = less emissions

The only really surprising thing here is that they aren't selling lane widening carbon offsets
