My take is we have enough real problems in this world not to imagine more so I am not willing to extend the bad behavior of Israel to all Jews everywhere or even all Jews within Israel, just as I am not willing to extend the bad behavior of some Muslims to all those who have Islam as their faith, nor am I willing to extend the bad behavior of a nations leaders to all of it's members, I sure as hell do not approve of many things our government does. I try not to fall victim to oversimplified generalizations, I know they are easy but I am not intellectually lazy and I feel moral responsibility towards not being so. You of course can make your own choices and if not buying Dell is one of them more power to you, I've got a 26 year old Dell desktop still working and a well behaved Dell laptop.

I agree as much autonomy as possible is best, but also immediacy, the ability to narrow the input immediately when it's overloading the brains ability to filter it. I realize sensory overload is not just audible but that's one channel you can have immediate effective and autonomous control over leaving more mental bandwidth to address the remainder.
