There are lots of other orgs in the ecosystem with varying funding structures. Over time the protocol stewardship will move to the IETF and community governance will likely form around some sort of membership group. Financial sustainability is up to any individual org to figure out. Decentralization of what? AP prioritizes decentralization of servers. I believe AT decentralizes power. Having a fiefdom is nicer than siloed platforms.
