One section is so steep, there is a ladder you must climb up (or down) to get across an otherwise impassable portion. <br/><br/>On CoMaps, I love how this feature is labeled “The Ladder”, as opposed to just “ladder” generically, because anyone who has done this trail know there is one ladder, and it is The Ladder, for sure! They are historical records of what nodes self report. But stuff goes up and down CONSTANTLY. There are always way more and also far fewer active nodes than the maps report (if that makes sense). <br/><br/>I guess that’s the appeal of a mesh — in theory the network is self healing even as stuff goes up and down, but in my short experience so far, it mostly is just “down”.
