Once a machine is tagged it has very strict ACLs - tailscale treats that machine as owned by that tag, not a human any more. It is then by default forbidden to access other devices in the tailnet, unless explicitly allowed by an ACL. <br/><br/>So yeah, my main docker machine, which is tagged, suddenly lost internet access because it couldn&#39;t reach the pi for DNS 😅<br/><br/>I didn&#39;t know this until I forced tailscale reauthorizing (because the machine can ping the pi on local IP, but not tailscale IP) and it worked. However it did because reauthorizing removes the tag. I had never followed them closely to draft behind them by keeping at least 3 feet away, sometimes dropping further behind. But after half a mile or a mile or so, the bro realized I was still keeping up (he looked back), and he decided to blow up on Mass Ave during rush hour between Alewife and Porter, and blew past a red light. He almost got hit by a car, it was nerve wrecking even to watch, and he got yelled at by his buddy. I realized he was doing very aggressive and dangerous things so I let them go.<br/><br/>Hilariously I caught them up at Mass Ave Bridge inbound 😂 he was struggling on the inbound ascend and I could hear him talking with his buddy about me being as surprisingly fast as them, and what the hell they were doing 😂 then they continued to ride aggressively, just to be stopped by cars all the time. And he took a long time to clip in. He took the traffic lane instead of bike lane, which was fine, but his buddy almost ran into the concrete barrier following him and had to unclip and slow down. But I did simulate the charging situation and observe the chargers along the stops.<br/><br/>Once you cross border into Quebec you have a ton of options - 50, 100 or 180kw and mostly FLO network - from my experience they&#39;re pretty reliable. The little town we stopped for gas has like 6 charging stations very close to each other with 2-4 chargers available each. <br/><br/>But the charging situation in NH / VT is not good.
