(Garlic press is OP) Let it sit there to &#34;garlic&#34; for about 10 min.<br/>2) Put the soup pot on medium with no water, and let the tomatoes and pepper sit in there until they start squeaking. A little charred is ideal, and do NOT wash the pot.<br/>3) Throw the tomatoes into a blender. Cutting them finely just isn&#39;t feasible.<br/>4) Lightly blend them JUST enough that there aren&#39;t any big chunks. (Stubborn big chunks you can just cut up.)<br/>5) Chop up the onions. Anything you chop has to be small enough to get picked up by a tortilla chip<br/>6) Chop up the pepper with a knife... blenders don&#39;t get it right. (If you have a fancy vegetable chopomatic thingy it might.)<br/>7) Herb scissors are good to shred the cilantro. Be sure to cut it all twice, so you don&#39;t have cilantro spears those are annoying af<br/>8) Throw everything in the soup pot, incl salt and lime, and stew it for a while. This is because raw onions will haunt you for hours.<br/>9) Get your used coffee filter for a little American panache, or just a paper towel. Put in a big funnel, coffee side down, and put the funnel in a jar.<br/>10) Pour the tomato soup into the funnel, not too much you need to leave it for a while.<br/>11) Leave it for a while. The water will drain out of the soup, making it more of a goop than a soup.<br/>12) Throw out the coffee water b/c nasty. Use a spoon to scoop the tomato goop into a second jar.<br/>13) Label the jar &#34;Salsla&#34;<br/>14) Take tablespoon of it from the jar, and dip tortilla chips in that, because you&#39;re all alone and have no one to share it with, so you can&#39;t use all the salsla at once.<br/>15) Rest goes in the fridge.<br/><br/>Getting the amounts wrong doesn&#39;t hurt much. Adjust to taste or whatever. If you live where I do, and getting a hot jalapeño is fucking impossible, then maybe add a knife&#39;s edge of cayenne pepper. This should take about a half hour, at most. Cleanup is way longer b/c cleaning a blender is annoying, and you have to scrub the pot.
