I would say that using Proton wallet or any password manager is more than enough for an average user :)

If you want to take it to the next level (which you should NOT do without a reason or high interest in cyber) you can add physical authenticators to you password manager tool and think if cloning your sim card means that the attacker has access to all your information (get hold of your email and then use that to access all other services)

I would agree with Gab. While it's understandable that they just could not upkeep gab(.tv) because of the cost but I didn't really have any reason to stay after it was removed.

My problem with Gab is that it's not fun. Every follower seems like a bot, it's really hard to get subscribers, it's hyper political and you cannot escape the hyper politicization. Join a cat channel? Politics and spam. Open front page? Politics and spam.

It's been getting worse for a long time. It's not just some short adds here and there, it's long and multiple adds that ruin the experience.

I don't even use Youtube while logged in because they sometimes start to block your player when they catch a blocker.

Hopefully this is not heresy but I never really liked Virtual Fighter. The first one was technically great with 3D still being rather new but generally I think the game is not arcade enough. It's not easy to get into, the learning curve is vast and it sucks the fun out of having simple fun.

The game is almost like made for hard core e-sports type fighter gamers.

I use Wander Extension. While Odysee Connect is good, Wander now has a part of your key (half cloud, half local). Even if they cannot use their part of the key without you, the idea of Wander Extension is simpler. Only you have the key, period. It's more non-custodial.

Those would be the good sides. The bad side is that Odysee Connect is simpler and integrates nicely to Odysee.

✝️ Slowly Going Sane (npub1r5p…6yvz) You basically have three options: Create an account on Transak (Odysee default option), use any of the credit card options on Odysee buy page or exchance Bitcoin to Arweave using instant swaps.

Transak registation requires strong KYC. I haven't tested the credit cart options but instant swaps will work for sure.
