How should I use Python? What things seem like simple solutions but might cause me headaches in the future?

I want to know those answers too. There's lots of "you could also do x" but there's less, "x+y+z works, but x+y+v will be bad."

I'm really good at finding those problems)

I "recently" fixed up my pc with a new harddrive to boot from, and more ram, and in the process upgraded a bunch of things and took it as a chance to "Start Fresh" with everything Python/programming.

And goodness, maybe its me, but that first hurdle of "starting" python is a lot. I've never used PyCharm, UV, any virtual environment management, etc.

I'm good enough with python, but all of the tooling has changed so much that I don't know how to avoid shooting myself in the foot when starting.

Some conversations are volatile and if someone is hyperfixated on that, then a mute/ban etc for a period can act as a way to let time pass for everyone to cool off.

Only tying moderation's ability to act to a CoC really ties their hands to reacting vs curating.

So these perspectives are timely to read.
