I had tried to set up an 8" drive to work with the kryoflux but I failed. It was easier to apply for a small grant to pay for the recovery work.

Question for my academic librarian peers: is any serious conversation happening in any notable venue right now regarding the privacy and security implications of situating Canadian library user data in platforms run by US corporations? Seems to me we should be updating our risk assessments, particularly given the current administration's targetting of universities, libraries, students and faculty. Oh, and our existence as a sovereign nation.

That might have been where I got my copy of Haldeman back in the 70s, I sure bought a lot of other books there. It makes me unreasonably happy to learn they’re still in business, after all these years.
