The reality is, that &#34;Ivy League&#34; track begins as early as preschool for the rich and powerful whereas the prison industrial complex/mercenary industrial complex paradigm is similarly in effect for those who are thrown to the whims of compulsory education.<br/><br/>It&#39;s not unique to the USA either, Japan also took inspiration from the Prussians.<br/><br/>Anyway, even knowing that, and not being an Ivy League sort, I don&#39;t know if it made my experience better. I know someone who never graduated college making $30/hr at a pretty chill job. Whereas I&#39;m a decade older, have a B.A. have been cited in others&#39; Masters and Doctoral publications and mostly just count my blessings that I didn&#39;t get ground to even more of a pulp since I never enlisted.
