Got the soil sorted and enriched. Ready for this spring. Lots more to do. Need to get the tomato bags out of the rain so they&#39;ll dry out some for me and stop leeching away all the stuff I put in them. Then I can amend the soil and get those ready too.<br/><br/>Also getting a jump on things by getting some thyme started in the seeding rack inside. I&#39;m going to start 4 - 6&#34; inch pots and I expect they will remain indefinitely in the rack. I have a deck pot where I last had some thyme growing, and when things warm up enough, I&#39;ll move some of it out there. But this should keep a good supply.<br/><br/>Lots more tomatoes planned for this year. I also have thoughts of trying some potatoes. Also lots of flowers and herbs. But I opted to break out a new pen and find a somewhat neutral ink.<br/><br/>I recently picked up the new Monteverde Innova Green carbon fiber. It joins the original black/gray that I have. It writes very smooth with a steel Medium nib, and I really enjoy the weight and form of the Innova line. Classy, but not over the top.<br/><br/>I paired it with the Noodler&#39;s Liberty&#39;s Elysium. I did not pick it for the name as much the color, but there is a certain irony of it.<br/><br/>I used my light up tracing pad with a printed out line reference so I could write on blank paper. Works extremely well for that. I&#39;d highly recommend getting one if you don&#39;t have it.
