Twitter recently started force-opening links in Safari when you’re browsing from another iOS browser, for no reason other than staying on brand and being awful at everything it does.

Quiche Browser now blocks that.

Quiche Browser is now updated for iOS 26 with a beautiful, floating Liquid Glass toolbar!

If you like Safari’s new toolbar but wish you could pick and place the buttons you need most, now might be the time to switch your default browser.

And if you’re not into Liquid Glass, you can always switch to the Classic theme for a plain, quiet toolbar, like Safari on iOS 18.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/quiche-browser/id1668363952

One of the reasons is I'm waiting to see what Apple will announce for iOS and Safari in 2 weeks, given all these big redesign rumors 😅

Quiche Browser’s back button can now close new tabs opened from links (whether automatically or manually).

That means you can potentially remove the close button for an even more minimal toolbar.

This one’s for everyone obsessing over their perfect 3-button layout!

All changes:
https://quiche.industries/browser/whatsnew/

Download:
https://apps.apple.com/app/quiche-browser/id1668363952
