She was in her favorite spot under the old wooden milking stanchion I made over 20 years ago. She was curled up in a little nest she had made out of hay droppings. She knew how to stay close to the protection of our dogs and not get nabbed by coyotes or other predators. Everyone wants everybody else's trees trimmed but nobody wants their trees trimmed. When people found out I worked for the electric utility, I would get an ear full. Easily the most political issue we dealt with.

I'm brain impaired and can barely type with one thumb on my phone. (full keyboard on a computer still intimidates me mightily) When I type a toot, I go very slowly. It's tough for my thumb to keep up with my impaired brain. My thumb also lacks dexterity and eye coordination. I go over every toot 3 times before I post and I still screw up. So frustrating.

After 6 months of darkness, my life is somewhat returned to me. I don't have the bandwidth for the fedi or even just all of Fosstodon. I created this account to stay in touch with some old friends. You know who you are. Typing is still difficult, I'm tired much of the time and I just had my right knee replaced. I have some brain damage and my neck is probably permanently damaged.
