I also suffer a degree of overload and they've been brilliant for it. There's an app you can use to adjust EQ and different levels of cancellation but I just have it all maxed out, they're pretty good at trading the edge off things even with nothing playing (but obviously you want some music) I'm always appalled when I take them off to listen for announcements etc at the racket around me

I use the Sony wh1000xm5 for my London commuting, the noise cancellation is the best I've experienced, I can be sat next to screaming drunks and not know it, they mute the tube fairly well and the overall sound and frequency response is pretty good, as is battery life, would buy again

Having now dipped into the spoiler filled world of online discourse on this movie I'm going up upgrade my review to very good. I don't give a shit about the ethics of the one problematic thing, but it isn't very well done, but fuck all these mewling cunts complaining about one bitch ass throwaway thing or another, I hope they never enjoy anything again.
And I loved all the musical cue fan service and other bits in the sound design
