March 27, 2026 @ 12:40 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ I woke up about 90 minutes ago to bright sunshine and hot water. (When Pete hears me stirring he often heats my tea water for me and covers it so it's ready to start steeping when I get to the kitchen.) Looks like our high today will be 32°F and clouds moving in later. The grands will be here after school for a while but other than that no plans today. Which is good, I really need a "down" day to regroup. I'm not sure what I will be posting today, meme hunting is fun so of course Friday funnies. My sweet 11YO granddaughter Lyra, after suggesting Saturday Sea Creatures, made me a chart with suggestions for "meme days" covering 5 weeks when I mentioned that I wanted to freshen things up a bit around here. Not whining, just sayin': things have been a bit of a struggle lately, so just doing what I can do, which most days isn't much 🤷‍♀️. March 12, 2026 @ 09:58 Good morning family & friends❣️ I woke up early today for several reasons: one is that I smelled Pete's breakfast cooking and it smelled delicious. Then I heard the discussion on one of his nets, where he learned that a friend had passed away. He was one of the handful of friends that Pete saw and had a relationship with outside of any group, and he - Pete - was pretty shook up. Plus, because I ate carbs yesterday, I was hungry. So here I am. Got my morning updates done, and cheated a bit by doing my photo post last night and setting it to "go live" this morning. I will get Don's guest post up later too, excited that it is chapter 3 of his original fiction piece, The Unsettling. I'm enjoying it a LOT! Other than that, it will be music, birds, grands, and WEATHER!!! A few days ago we were in the 70s. Today a storm will be moving in that will bring from inches to feet of snow/ice into the state...then on Sunday another system moves in that will be even worse (possibly MUCH worse!) than this one! Right now it is calm, sunny, and bright. Until this afternoon, unless the forecast has changed since last night; we will all know after it happens for sure, right? Pete is at an appointment and when he returns I have a couple of places to go. One of them involves a solution to my phone situation that will renew my texting number to me long enough to get it ported out to another company - and I sincerely and heartily thank the company I've been using for coming up with the solution! So I'm pretty happy about that. Meanwhile, until Pete gets back, I will be working on the piece I plan to share for Wednesday Worship. At some point I will also go meme hunting so I can put a Tuesday Titters post up today. So all of that will keep me busy. March 9, 2026 @ 20:46 Good evening family & friends❣️ Well golly. This has been a day! Not what I was expecting. Just got home and sat down. Went to pick up Zoey and that took a bit because I didn't get the message she was running a little later because, you know, my texting number is now unavailable to me...but we got here, she did her thing, VERY WELL as always, and also - well, I'll come back to that. Anyway, as soon as I took her home, 16YO grandson got off the bus here. Also got a message that 6YO got on the wrong bus...went to pick her up, also had to pick the 11YO up from rehearsal, and took all 3 of them home. Got back here and had a quick bite before going to the supermarket and just got home. Will be in bed before long, for sure! Just have to put the PoiBoiz to bed with their fresh water and snackz. But back to what I started to tell you before: When Zoey got in the bus she was holding a bag, and it was a beautiful gift for me! She'd been at an antique store over the weekend and said she thought I'd like it so she got it...it is absolutely so very very lovely, I will show you a picture tomorrow, that really touched my heart 🤗! So I guess I will see you tomorrow, sleep well, good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

March 9, 2026 @ 11:57 Good morning family & friends❣️ Wow, crazy that I've got my morning updates done before noon! Also crazy that my phone tells me it will be 70°F today (and that next week we'll get down to -7°F)! The sun is bright, Zoey is coming, and I'm going to do a little grocery shop later if I can. Pete is working on antenna stuff outside; it is very windy at the moment. Here's something that I don't understand: our little side street - speed limit 25 - runs parallel to a main road - speed limit 35. The main road is smooth; our street is rutted and bumpy. YET cars blow down our street at 35mph continually, cars that don't live here or even stop anywhere here, cars that use this street just to get from one end to the other. Why? This is something that I simply cannot comprehend! Our street is very quiet and peaceful otherwise. I should find out what it would take to get speed bumps put in... March 8, 2026 @ 14:06 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ Sunny and windy here, colder than yesterday which was in the mid 60s but drizzly with 100% humidity. Today's plans are to record and post Sunday Selections and of course Don's guest post. Other than that I want to try a new recipe for my meal and anything else that the Lord hands me to do. We didn't realize there was a time change until last night, I ended up sleeping until noon although it was only 23 hours from noon yesterday, go figure. I've been working out a problem and think I have a good solution now: I have 2 phone numbers (besides the texting-only one in my contact info) - and have had for years - because the carrier for my since-2003 phone number doesn't have a web-based texting function. I'd subscribed to a 2nd number for business before I retired and now use it for web-based texting mainly, though I can also use it on my phone for calling. Well, my 2nd number provider has now disallowed the web-based texting function, so I've been looking for a replacement. Finally found one late yesterday and tomorrow I will get my number ported over there, with all of the fol-de-rol that requires. Other than that, HoWie continues to run like a champ and Pete has been driving him wherever he goes. We need a trip to Sam's for a small shop soon so when that happens I'll get a chance to drive him again. Looking forward to that! And that's it for right now, I'll probably "see" you again after I finish up today's posts. Meanwhile have a great day in Jesus❣️🙌✝️🎶😆🥩🌿💐👴👵🐕‍🦺🦜

March 7, 2026 @ 16:08 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ Today is a very special day for me and I have been celebrating it ever since I got up this morning. You will notice that all of my morning updates are of a spiritual nature, and most refer to heaven. That's where I'm going when my time comes! And I have that assurance because 50 years ago today I said NO! to the world and YES! to Jesus. Today is my spiritual birthday, the day that changed my life forever - from that day through all of eternity. When I made that choice to follow Jesus I was instantly and dramatically changed, going from someone whose life went from one (usually profane and nasty) pleasure to the next, most of them having bad consequences...and going to Someone whose Spirit entered into my soul and gave me innocence, purity, and love. It was just like being struck by a bolt of lightning, so powerful and sudden that moment! All of my nasty vocabulary left my mind - I didn't even understand dirty jokes anymore! When I looked at the people around me, it wasn't with a derisive, critical and even mean eye - it was with a sense of lovingkindness and gentleness as the Lord used me. Whereas previously mentions of the Lord made me angry, now I craved His fellowship and His Word. Where I had had fear, it was gone and replaced with joy and peace and trust in my Father. And on and on it went. And goes! I have had times in my life where I started to stray off of His path for my life but He brought me back, repentant and thankful. The negativity that had surrounded and filled me for 19 years was instantly gone 50 years ago today as He changed me from the inside out, filling me with His presence and love. So I will continue to celebrate this day today - and forever. Heaven is my home and that heavenward mindset mentioned above will be part of me until I get there❣️🙌✝️🎶😆🥩🌿💐👴👵🐕‍🦺🦜

Excited that the bus continues to start, so I will be able to start driving it. Today will be just a regular day doing the usual stuff around the house and with the PoiBoiz and whatever else comes up. I would like to play my keyboard a bit, and try out my new equipment, now that Leelan got it all connected and set up. Pete is out running a couple of errands but should be back shortly. It does seem to be working out better for me to do all of my updates and content additions to this site earlier in the day, since evenings are typically more difficult and I just want to go to bed early, so that's probably what I will continue to do most days. Those were my goals and they were met 🏆. The post for Don would normally have been shared in about a week, but it was so good that I was excited to get it online so it pushed another one back. Mine started out with a 15-hour nap after the very busy day yesterday, lots of happy people having fun and getting things done and you will see the results in the Gloria update. Zoey will be coming in a little while. I got up and ready for the day and started out working on recording a worship song for today my 🧠 was holding hostage (this is my life now) how to do that on my keyboard - vs using my webcam setup over the keyboard; to record this particular piece I want to record the audio to the keyboard directly, then play along with it using my baritone ukulele which will be both audio and video...which I used to do all the time. So I went back to my manual and started working on figuring it out (feels like I'd never done it before - sheesh) and that didn't exactly go well...anyway, I finally gave up I had something to eat, put the PoiBoiz back in their cages, and decided to get done what I can get done before I go to pick up Zoey. (For those who don't know, I have a small portable washing machine that sits in the bathtub on laundry days, and has its own corner elsewhere the rest of the time; I hang everything up to dry it.) Feb 20, 2026 @ 17:17 (!) Good evening family & friends❣️ Made it through the day 🙌 slept most of the morning, then Zoey and I went to get the last of the items she needs for the Big Project. Came home and worked on laundry - a couple of loads is all I could manage today - made my meal, and was eating when the 2 of the 3 grands got here after school. Enjoyed spending time with them until their mom picked them up a few minutes ago, and now I am needing to go to bed 🤕😵😣😴, so I will see you tomorrow. I hope your weekend is getting off to a good start, good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

Feb 19, 2026 @ 20:24 Good evening family & friends❣️ Today was a decent day, I got half the laundry done as well as a few other little things around the house that we do every day. I am hopeful to finish the laundry tomorrow but it might have to wait until Saturday as Zoey and I are going out to pick up the few last supplies for the Big Project she is making for Gloria, that I can't WAIT to reveal! That girl has so much talent...anyway, she just stopped by to ask a couple of questions before she finishes up. I'm so excited to get it done, delivered, and displayed! Meanwhile I will see you tomorrow on Finally Friday...good night for now❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

Feb 19, 2026 @ 14:35 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ It is a lovely sunny day here, not sure about the expected high temp but I won't be going out anyway. Doing laundry today and tomorrow - yes, I let it pile up for too long (though I do have reasons) - and would love to be able to hang it outside. However, last I heard, there will be some sort of storm thing moving in later. Plus the clothesline and clothes pins haven't been washed yet and are certainly dirty from winter. Which is, by the way, going to continue for a while yet here. Anyway I enjoyed the grands, got up at 05:15 to fix breakfast, went back to sleep about 4 hours later, and when I woke up at 12:30ish I sorted laundry and got that all started before coming out here. Not sure what I will be posting today, other than Don's Guest Post and of course my updates as listed below, and my mini-devo-study above (if you are reading on my site); maybe inspiration will hit me when I'm changing loads hahaha! Feb 17, 2026 @ 18:11 Good evening family & friends❣️ Pete and I went out to get things done today, I'm done in and done for 🤕😵😣😴 and on my way to bed after just finally having something to eat. This was not at all how I'd planned this day but it is what it is and I can't change it. I did do a vlog/grocery haul which I will edit/post tomorrow. Also made a pot of dog food for Maisie (beef/pork/fish/eggs/oatmeal/pumpkin). I will see you whenever I get back online Wednesday, I hope you are having a good week so far❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

Feb 15, 2026 @ 22:10 Good evening family & friends❣️ My day is almost over and I am definitely ready for bed! I'm not sure if Pete already went back to bed or if he is doing his lymphodema treatment. Today was rather busy, in that I worked on catching up with blogging stuff most of the day, finishing up now. Tomorrow I'm not sure what I will do, except for sure start on laundry, and the grands are coming after school tomorrow so I'm BIG TIME looking forward to that! I'd like to go to Ollie's since I have a 15% off coupon, but it depends on what time I wake up as to whether I will have time to drive down there.
