So we built an alternative.

This isn't just another summer.

Parts of Europe, North America, North Africa and South America are facing severe heatwaves and wildfires.

Many broke records before peak fire season even arrived.

In France, 116,000 hectares have burned this season. Across Spain and France, 300,000 people have been displaced.

None of this is random.

It's what scientists have warned about for decades: a hotter planet means fires that burn hotter and faster🌡️

With Leuser Conservation Forum, we’ve helped plant 15,240 trees across 17 species at this site in Sumatra, while letting nature regenerate too.

Today, farmers are harvesting and selling fruit from the trees, and our partners have found signs of Sumatran tiger and sun bear nearby 🐅

Local monitoring also shows lower average temperature and more rainfall.
