So there I was, minding my own business, trying to take a photo of the Santa Barbara Airport runway 7 glide slope antenna (because that’s the kind of thing I’m into) when, out of nowhere, a United Airlines 737 MAX 8 comes out of nowhere and bombs my photo. Mercy sakes alive! #AvGeek #Sunrise #SBA

K5 Aviation’s D-APGS slipped into SBA last night — one of those untracked A319 charter flights you only catch if you’re paying attention. I spotted it on the ramp during my commute this morning. The location made a traditional up-against-the-fence shot a little too conspicuous, so the chain-link became part of the composition.
