I had a lot of large numeric arrays, and they encoded way faster with msgpack and cbor compared to builtin JSON. A binary encoding being fast with lots of binary data seems to make sense. But I may also have cheated by refactoring to use TypedArray varieties for those, which JSON can&#39;t do. It&#39;s long enough ago I don&#39;t remember all the comparisons I did. 2024-09-11T22:35:57Z
